In response to the increasing global concern for Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR),
the Teijin Group has established Basic purchasing and procurement policy to promote fair and transparent porcurement activities.
For promotion of CSR procurement, cooperation in our suppliers' efforts for CSR is essential.
To this end, the Teijin Group has established the CSR Procurement Guideline for further classification of the system for cooperation with suppliers.
We are accumulating useful information in order to strengthen partnership with suppliers concerning their CSR through establishment of the CSR Supplier Assessment Criteria. In line with this, we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in CSR activities.
The Teijin Group has established the CSR Procurement Guideline and started periodical questionnaires as set forth therein.
For these questionnaires, we have developed a CSR supplier questionnaire system that collects answers through the Website for convenience of suppliers.
This system has enabled analysis of answers to the questionnaires, creation of database, time-series recognition of CSR status in each suppliers, etc. Information obtained through this system is provided to suppliers as feedback for supporting their CSR improved activities.
In the future, we will make the best use of this system as a basis for the sustainable development of CSR procurement.
