R&D Network Function
We have changed R&D system from a linear R&D model in which major research centers are responsible for cultivating new research seeds, identifying markets to new R&D processes. Increasingly short product cycles demand an accelerated approach to R&D. Accordingly, it is essential that R&D be closely linked to markets. Our approach to marketing is based on close cooperation between the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Going forward, we aim to expedite R&D efforts by enhancing our ability to match market needs and research seeds.
